Arvest Bank Adds Murphy to Commercial Banking Group

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce it has hired Stephanie Murphy as a commercial banker.

Murphy brings 11 years of industry experience to Arvest, where she will generate, evaluate and approve commercial loans, among other duties. Murphy’s specific areas of expertise are: healthcare financing, dental equipment and business acquisition financing, SBA loans for startup or expansion, leasing, investment property and commercial real estate financing, and accounts receivable and inventory financing. She will be based out of the Arvest branch located at 730 N. National Ave.

"Stephanie's 11 years of business lending experience will be a great addition to the team,” said Steve Kelly, commercial loan manager for Arvest in Springfield. “She will be a strong culture fit and team player. We are excited to have her join the Arvest family."

Murphy earned a degree in business administration at Vatterott College. She also completed the Missouri Bankers Association’s Advanced Lending School and Omega Performance’s Financial Accounting for Lenders course.

Murphy serves as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks, and also is involved with the Missouri Bankers Association and its Young Bankers Leadership Division, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, and The Network. She lives in Springfield with her husband, Matt.

Arvest Wealth Management Announces Terrell Hiring

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce it has hired Sandy Terrell.

Terrell, who has more than 14 years of industry experience, will serve Arvest Wealth Management as a client advisor and trust specialist. She will be based out of the Arvest branch located at 4140 S. Fremont Ave.

In her new role, Terrell will be responsible for the administration, development and maintenance of trust and individual retirement accounts, as well as providing administrative services to high net worth clients.

“We are excited to have Sandy join us and leverage her experience to deliver our mission of ‘People helping people find financial solutions for life,’” Arvest Wealth Management regional manager Tracy Barnas said.

Terrell is involved in numerous civic endeavors, including the American Cancer Society, the Salvation Army, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Junior Achievement and Convoy of Hope. She’s also a member of the Women’s Business Resource Group.

Terrell lives in Springfield with her husband, Dan, and they have two adult children.

Arvest Bank Welcomes Darla Marler to Treasury Management

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce that Darla Marler has joined the bank as a treasury management sales advisor serving the Joplin and Springfield markets.

After spending six years in healthcare, Marler returns to her banking roots with over 10 years of commercial banking and treasury management experience. In her new role at Arvest Bank, she will be responsible for working with commercial clients through a consultative approach, focusing on how to leverage technology and fraud prevention services to enhance efficiency of their company’s cash flow.

“Darla brings a wealth of commercial banking and treasury management knowledge to Arvest, as well as familiarity with the region she will be supporting,” said Carolyn Kennedy, executive director of the Treasury Management division. “She will be able to support her business clients to find ways to maximize their payables and receivables processes, along with providing solutions for potential barriers that may be limiting their ability to grow. We believe Darla is well-suited to provide a high level of expertise and support to the clients in her region and look forward to what she will be able to achieve in her new role with Arvest.”

Marler received her bachelor’s degree in communication from Missouri State University and is a graduate of the Richardson’s Consultative Sales Training course. Born and raised in Springfield, Marler has three children and was previously involved with the United Way and served as chair on the advisory board of the Lutheran Family and Children Services, and served on the board for the local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.

Arvest Bank Hires Anthes in Springfield

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Mandy Anthes.

 
Anthes will serve as a commercial banker in Springfield and brings 14 years of banking experience with her. In her new role, Anthes will generate, evaluate and approve commercial loans, among other duties. She was honored as one of Springfield Business Journal’s 40 under 40 in 2018.

"Mandy is committed to our community and will be a welcome asset to the team. I am excited for her to begin the next chapter of her career with us," Summer Massey, loan manager, said.

Anthes graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. She went on to attend the American Banker’s Association Lending School at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and Barret Graduate School of Banking in Memphis, Tenn.

Anthes lives in Springfield with her husband Aaron and their two daughters. She serves on the Leadership Springfield Board of Directors and Leadership Council for the Network. Anthes is also a Missouri Banker’s Association Young Banker.

In her free time, Anthes enjoys reading, spending time with family and traveling.
