After traveling through Arkansas on vacation, Bob Rice and his wife Jan loved the state so much they decided to settle there and start Fairway Lawns in Little Rock in 1979. Thirty-two years later, the business has expanded into five states, has a total of nine branches that serve the region and inspired the development of its sister company, Command Pest Control.

A leading lawn care provider, Fairway uses quality products to give customers the best possible results, fast. The lawn care program is specially designed to control weeds and make every lawn into a showplace.

With over 260 years combined experience on its management team, customers can rest assured that their lawn is in good hands. The company provides continuous support and education to its employees so they can educate customers. In addition, informational handouts and tips on the website, fairwaylawns.com, are supplemental tools provided to homeowners in order to keep lawns looking their best.

Fairway Lawns also stays in touch with customers through its blog and Twitter account. These online resources allow for direct customer communications and provide relevant updates such as weather and agronomic conditions.

When choosing a bank, Fairway Lawns decision to bank with Arvest (since 2008) resulted in what Bob describes as “the best banking relationship we’ve had in over 30 years.” He stated, “All the Arvest people have been phenomenal in their assistance with everything from loan funding to consultation, even down to the smallest detail such as payroll auto bank draft.”

As Fairway Lawns and Command Pest Control continue to serve the people of Arkansas and the surrounding region, Arvest looks forward to continuing in their strong partnership.

This was a great article. We conduct business similarly in the Augusta area. We often take pointers and model after the big players like Fairway Lawns.
